ACCESS
The entrance on the ground floor is a flat and level surface with automatic doors and the lifts have an accessible call button which, when used, gives audible directions to the lift and also slows down the doors to allow more time for people to access the lift. In the unlikely event of emergency, our lifts do operate until the arrival of the metropolitan fire service, so people unable to manoeuvre the stairs will easily be able to get back down to the ground floor. The function room also has hearing loop should any attendees require this.
The dimensions for the goods lift to level 1 are 1600 mm (w) x 2000mm (d) x 2400mm (h) (door width 1100mm wide x 2200mm high).
The function rooms themselves are easily accessible with mobility aids and we will set the room in such a way to create clear pathways for attendees. On level 1, in addition to male, female and gender neutral accessible toilets, we also have a changing places facility which is a fully accessible bathroom with toilet, basin and shower. Changing Places is a network of accessible public facilities found across Australia and can be accessed via a Master Locksmith Access Key (MLAK) which some of your attendees may already have if they are familiar with the network, alternatively, our concierge team can provide access if required.
Venue capacity 200 max – includes 10 wheelchair spaces.
